It’s official! I’m a Florida Studies grad student at USFSP

If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been for the past few months, I must admit I’ve been adjusting to my new life as a student.  I haven’t worried about my grades since. . . (okay, it’s been a long time!) Let’s just say it’s been an adjustment. Here’s what I’m (happily) studying. This should lead to many more post and much more often. Check out the Florida Studies program.

Last year, on Feb. 14th,  I posted the Hands Across the Sands protest to show opposition to drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico   Two months later our worst fears came true. Now, Cuba is allowing drilling.

In the past six months, it seems that blogs have become less popular and Twitter feeds are where all the cool people are now hanging out. I like to keep up with what’s going on in journalism and so I’ve joined the Twitter crowd. Follow me!
